Age Limit: 18 to 27 Years as on 1st January 2016. Age Relaxation – 03 Years for OBC (A) & OBC (B), 05 Years for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal Only and 10 Years for PWD.
Educational Qualification:(1) Electrical Engineering - Full Time 4 years' B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree (including candidates who have joined the course through lateral entry) in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics (Combined) / Power Engineering / B.Sc (H) in Physics with 3 years' B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/ IITs.
(2) Civil Engineering - Full time 4 years BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE/ IITs.
(3) Final year candidates are also eligible to apply.
How to Apply: Candidates have to apply online separately for GATE-2017 and WBSEDCL However, the candidates can apply to WBSEDCL only after getting GATE-2017 Admit Card. The WBSEDCL's online application process will commence after 05/01/2017 and will be duly notified through press notification for the intending candidates.
To be getting selected in this organisation screened candidates will have to pass in GATE-2017 Score and Interview conducted by authorised officials.
