DRDO Recruitment 2017 Notification through GATE 2017

Every year Defense Research and Development Organization recruits Scientist/Engineers on the basis of GATE 2016 and GATE 2017 scores and personal interview. Eligible candidates can apply for the DRDO posts after notifications are released for the DRDO Recruitment 2017.

Usually, DRDO Application Form 2017 will be available in the month of March – April 2017. Candidates should apply for the DRDO Scientist/Engineers posts within the deadline

Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Recruitment 2017:-

Candidates of Indian Nationality are eligible to apply for DRDO Recruitment 2017.
Candidates must have obtained minimum the first class in their qualifying exam equivalent to 60%. In the case of non‐availability of the conversion formula, CGPA/CPI of 6.75 (on a 10 point scale) will be taken as equivalent to 60%, as per AICTE guidelines. For any other point scale of CGPA/CPI, the equivalence may vary proportionally.
Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese is preferable but not mandatory.
The upper age limit not exceeding 28 years as on April 10, 2017.
Relaxation will be as per Govt guidelines
Final Year Students who are appearing in the qualifying exam are eligible to apply but they should submit their final marks sheet by August 10, 2017.

For General candidates, the age limit is 28 years
For OBC candidates 31 years
For SC/ST candidates 33 years
For PWB candidates 33 years
